Ken Jennings and Merle Louise should have been nominated. They would not have won against Carlin Glynn and Henderson Forsythe, but those two performances have never been equaled for me. I rarely use the D word — by which I mean definitive — but I'll use it for those two performances. The Drama Desks were televised in 1979, and I was so glad to see them both win. |
