I started to write a post about this, but I could not make myself get interested enough to finish it. I know this has been discussed here in the past. So thank you, Wayman. That relieves me of having to give those details.

Ken Jennings and Merle Louise should have been nominated. They would not have won against Carlin Glynn and Henderson Forsythe, but those two performances have never been equaled for me. I rarely use the D word — by which I mean definitive — but I'll use it for those two performances. The Drama Desks were televised in 1979, and I was so glad to see them both win.
