|Midori is 49! As was Stevie Wonder. And LL Cool J.
Leontyne Price was 53. Aretha Franklin was 52. So was Jessye Norman.
Eddie Murphy is getting to the lower age limit.

On that note, Ellen Burstyn is a glaring omission. And Glenn Close. And Bernadette Peters. And Jerry Seinfeld. Jane Alexander?
And as has been noted, Liza.
And what about Lorne Michaels?
It would have been nice to see Alex Trebek get one. It's broadening the criteria arguably, but he was a performing artist than many of the creatives who routinely are honoured.
Carl Reiner's absence was bizarre, given how vital and charming he was right until the end.
