Thanks for sharing. I'm excited that they're performing the songs in the order of the original production, unlike the regrettable album. I do wish they had recorded the original version of "Jesus, the Mighty Conqueror" which is more syncopated, insistent and driven. Such an incredible song at The Public that hasn't had the chance to be captured in its full glory.
Not a fan of Guettel's Butch Nascar look on "Pegasus", but I guess that's what we've come to expect from him (and I did super enjoy the Annie Golden cameo on that song, since she was in the original trio). |
