The part that's disturbing is comparing Kevin Spacey to George Washington and Martin Luther King Jr., while then excusing Washington's ownership of slaves and smearing King (the day before his national holiday), all to explain why we should welcome and I guess enjoy watching a man whose unwanted sexual advances traumatized countless people play a sexual predator and narcissist.

And then another thread where someone goes from being an apologetic fanboy of said predator to... honestly, I can't even follow the logical turn that took us from "give Spacey a Broadway leading role" to mention of Roy Cohn and Ethel Rosenberg, except that it got us off the topic of Spacey's "woeful imperfections", which... not being a kind person is a "woeful imperfection"; making unwanted, non-consensual sexual advances is a criminal act and gross human failing.
