Well, I would say your latter points betray continued confusion. Being convicted has zero to do with whether people want to work with (or go see) a creep. And equating what Stewart did with what Spacey did is a jaw-dropper. As is notion that Christianity is inconsistent with vitriol in relation to the condemnation of sin. LOL
So let's unpack this a little. Nothing is stopping anyone from producing a play with Spacey. Nothing is stopping Spacey from performing in that producer's play. Nothing is forcing anyone to work with Spacey and to go see a play in which he performs. But it is not at all surprising that most producers, cast, and crew, as well as potential audience members don't want to have anything to do with him; he's gross. And in the theatre, where we work in close quarters day after day, no one wants a person around even if they are just a royal pain in the ass.
