When I watched it again I wondered whether Michael Brown/Silliman's "Lizzie Borden Hoe Down" is quoting and parodying de Mille's choreography.

I'm so glad that there's the film of "New Faces of 1952". Silliman seems like a successful commercial producer of a admirably silly, rather gay, revue and cabaret style whose other creators and the venues that they played in are mostly forgotten and unrecorded.
