Of course. But, for what it's worth, some people feel that some book and songwriters don't prevent or vocally object to wildly different new interpretations of their shows because often they feel the most important thing is to have new productions, even if the writers personally don't love some of the new concepts. That said, I would imagine that if someone did come up with a concept for PIPPIN that Schwartz honestly felt would severely damage the show, he would likely not sign off on such a production.
