| I wholeheartedly agree with you; not sure what story is being serviced by that choreography. IMHO Ashford's bigger problem with this production was how he threw away "Turkey Lurkey Time"; it was as if he knew there was no way he could compete with Michael Bennett, so he just threw something together and hoped no one would care. Not only was Bennett's "Turkey Lurkey" a showstopper, it seemed to indulge dance-wise in the wild abandon of an office Christmas party. Ashford's did not. |
