We obviously disagree. I wouldn't dwell on his wigs but the fact that he had alopecia as a boy is pertinent to the man and artist he became. As is his being a refugee from Nazi Germany. And, yes, his romantic or sexual attachments. These are all fundamental parts that shape our personalities, our interests, our insights. He felt he was an outsider, an observer. If you write a biography about Arthur Miller, you will include Marilyn Monroe. If you write about Tennessee Williams you include Frank Merlo. To avoid discussing them leaves a gap in our understanding.
