| yes, that could be of interest, and I thought I made clear that I was not talking about anything that illuminates his development. But we arrived at this subject via the Richard Avedon question and I don't think that whatever happened with him speaks to his development or something he felt he had to do to succeed in his career. (Obviously, that would be filed under "Beyond Moot" at the time.) Notably, Harris did not suppress any mention of Avedon; he acknowledged the gossip and said he was not able to tie it down to his satisfaction so he moved on. |
