| It's too bad that Gloria Swanson could not find a worthy successor to "Sunset Blvd." She was obviously a class act, witty, beautiful and quite appealing. Maybe that spectacular 1950 comeback was satisyfingly enough for her. I regret she made no noteworthy films afterwards, even one of those hagtastic Hammer horrors (she would have been fabulous). |
