| I'm not 100% sure I know what makes something prog rock vs a different subgenre of rock, but I know "Variations" was considered a prog rock album so I guess act two of Song & Dance is one answer to your question. I think Tommy and Xanadu both have prog rock elements, although neither fully embraced them in their Broadway orchestrations. |
