| I agree about Geraldine Page......I also will remember her heartbreaking performance on TV in Truman Capote's A CHRISTMAS MEMORY....and she was performing a play on Broadway when she passed away....But the role is pure gold....Lois Smith was fantastic in it off Broadway a few seasons ago....and I believe Lillian Gish did it on TV in the 1950's.....so it is an acress' dream role. Yes I did see Cicely do it on Broadway.....different but effective. |
