Im just hoping that they hire an actual DANCER for this part. It would be wonderful to see an actress of color hired. A Chorus Line has mostly been wedded to the racial casting of the original. Although, the revival did cast a black woman (Diedre Goodwin) as Sheila. Alyson Reed did as best as possible in the (horrendous) film.
None of the Cassie's we know are possibilities (Donna McKechnie is 75, Charlotte d'Amboise is in her 50's, Ann Reinking has past away of course)
Im really hoping that Ryan Murphy doesnt f##k this up! |
