| What was the "trend-setting set" you speak of? Mind you, I've only seen the show a couple of times (touring versions). But, in those versions, I remember being amazed at how "low tech" the way the scenery/set pieces moved - "Oh, cast members carrying on kitchen table and chairs and setting them up in low light. Just the way my local community theatre groups do it!" Through no fault of their own, really. Our local theaters don't have fly space, turntables, treadmills, etc. at their disposal. |
