Saw it at the Belasco. Had no problem with it and was actually impressed. It got a well-deserved Visual Effects nomination and I think it should have won.
The audience was enthralled throughout. This remains one of the best moviegoing experiences of my life. No one was consulting a cell phone. I had the day off.
And I had a great steak dinner afterwards in Times Square (this was pre-pandemic).
