I never warmed up to The Band's Visit. And it went on to win 10 Tonys, one of the biggest winners ever. I am not saying that SpongeBob, Mean Girls or Frozen should have won over it. And I know that awards are given out according to what the competition is that season. But the show now has the third highest Tony wins after The Producers 12 and Hamilton 11. And I do not get it. It was fine to me, not outstanding at all.
