I wasn't trying to prove anything. I was merely opining that, while "Miss Saigon" and "Once on This Island" have had Broadway revivals and a Broadway revival of "The Secret Garden" gets mentioned repeatedly, "Will Rogers" seems to me a long shot for a Broadway return.
The "Miss Saigon" revival was a London import with the three West End leads, and the production had already been filmed and commercially released on Blu-ray. So I doubt it was intended to run as long as the original.
I agree that it "wasn't really a hit," but neither was the "Once on This Island" revival (or the original "Island" for that matter). |
