| Thanks. I don't love all of those songs, and I do think even the two best and most well known songs in the score have major flaws -- "With One Look' because some of the lyrics are pretty bad, "As If We Never Said Goodbye" because I don't think the emotions in that song are quite what Norma would be expressing under those circumstances. So those flaws added to the all that other mediocre-to-bad songwriting, which you acknowledge, accounts for my very low estimation of the show as a whole. |
