I admit it was a tad tongue-in-cheek about the set, but only a tad. It seemed to me that suddenly, after JERSEY BOYS, there were a bunch of shows with a scaffolding double-decker set. Maybe because I'm engineer, but I thought that the JB set was really cool the way the platforms flew in and out with band members on them, rotating, on the bottom level, and I also liked the spiral staircases on both sides, as well as the huge projection on the back wall with the stylized cartoon art, which was a bit ahead of it's time as well...
