This is sensational! Be sure to watch the whole thing because the best part is the end. He helps Elaine Paige create her backphrasing for Don't Cry For Me Argentina. Maybe it's par for the course, and we all know he was brilliant, but I never imagined he, or directors in general, would be shaping musical phrasing in this way. I love how he always talks about surprising the audience and he wants to help Elaine create something different from what they would have already heard on the concept recording or any other pop covers that may have existed at that point.
