| As I remember it, the major changes were the addition of “I Have the Room Above Her” written for one of the film versions, the repurposing of “Why Do I Love You?” The reinsertion of “Misry’s Comin Around” The addition of the dance sequences in act 2 to show the passage of time. I also think there was a fair amount of tinkering with the characters and their intent, but I’m no Showboat scholar. |
