I enjoyed SCARLET PIMPERNEL because of Douglas Sills' strong performance. Robert Longbottom also did a fine job redirecting the show after it had closed and reopened a few weeks later. Two shows I regretted seeing were THOU SHALL NOT and NEVER GONNA DANCE. PLATINUM and DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES weren't any better except for DOTV's sets.

Outside of Broadway, the premiere of the musical THE GENIUS FARM starring Marni Nixon and Johnny Johnson. The setting was a fat farm run by Nixon's character. It premiered at the Mineola Playhouse in 1965 and had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I have no recall as to who wrote the score.
