A Touch of the Poet

Cloris replaced Kim Stanley as Sara in the original Broadway production of O'Neill's A Touch of the Poet. Might there be anyone on this board who actually saw this drama-plagued production? Cloris did not get to perform the role for long as the backstage Kim Stanley dramas seem to have exhausted everyone, including audiences.

I am in the middle of reading Female Brando, Jon Krampner's acclaimed biography of Kim Stanley and a most worthy read. I must say that whatever desire I may have had to experience Ms. Stanley on stage is minimal compared to the desire I have to avoid people like her backstage. A most gifted self-saboteur who never seemed to consider the consequences of her actions on others, unfortunately.
