I mention this rumor in my latest post above. I find it hard to believe that Peters, who has a head voice, but hasn't a really classically legit voice, could sing the role as written. Unless Prince was having some kinds of delusions or some other kinds of problems, I find it hard to believe he could mix up Kahn and Peters, two very distinct and singular stars.
