I didn't see either. But I'm curious how people here felt about the revival. How did the musical hold up in revival? Was it well produced, was the material well served by the direction and cast, or was it done no favors? I remember the word on it not being encouraging enough to make me secure a ticket for the time I was in nyc during its run, but I kinda wish I had, if just for Kristen.

And of course, if it was good... how did it compare to the original production? I don't assume it's one of those shows that *depended* on the staging (by Prince and Fuller) to work as a show, but maybe it did? I do remember some posts saying the train choreo in the revival missed the mark compared to what Fuller did, but maybe I remember wrong. Obviously the revival's sets couldn't compare, but were they good if you weren't comparing?
