| Well, I mean, I'm not vocal expert, but it seems like by your logic you're saying that Kahn and Kaye were both singers at the skill/talent level of Beverly Sills... and I'm sorry but I don't think that's accurate. But what probably is very accurate is that there weren't any box-office stars who were also talented sopranos with the stamina to do it 8 (or even 6) times a week and willingness to do so. But that still doesn't stop most shows from trying. (Sunset Boulevard, for example) |
