Oh you're right - I should not have used the word 'revival'. I disliked it because I thought John Davidson was smarmy, Andrea McArdle was too "on" and too "bright", and the whole thing seemed cheesy and phony. I recall feeling a lot of cringes. I really hated it, which was a huge disappointment because I was (relatively) young and eager to love it.
