In other words, it seems the camera "doesn't love her." The same goes for John Lloyd Young and so it was for Sammy Williams and others.
Ethel Merman arguably could fit into that same category. Insanely talented as she was, never quite came across the same on the screen. (An exception would probably be "It's a Mad, Mad World" lol.) |
