Could Streisand handle a film version of Follies?

I always thought that incident where she saw the last revival and was annoying people in the audience (and on stage maybe) because she kept turning on a flashlight to look at the names of the songs indicated she may have been studying the show to see if it fit her. Do you think she could do it?
