Merman is pretty great in the film version of "Call Me Madam", probably the closest and best screen representation of what she was like on stage in one of her biggest hits. It was out of circulation for many years, but it's now available. It's a really fun film with Donald O'Connor and Vera-Ellen doing dancing work up there with the best of Astaire and Rogers, and George Sanders displaying a beautiful singing voice in a relatively rare non-villainous role.
