| Brennan probably wasn't a "name star" until at least "Private Benjamin" in 1980. Based on her work as Little Mary Sunshine, she probably could have sung Lily but, as you indicate, she was much older than Kahn--or especially Kaye--and it had been almost 20 years since Little Mary. |
