Yes, but again, that's a very different kind of comic acting than what's required for ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY. And to think that an opera singer nearing 50 who virtually never had sung in an alto belt register would suddenly develop the ability to do that so well that she could sing "Never" (for example) eight times a week on Broadway may be fun to think about but not very realistic, I'm afraid :-( |
