In terms of Gemignani's billing, it's worth pointing out that the 2008 revival did the doubling different than the original, so Gemignani was also playing Dennis in the second act, which made it a larger role than the original Boatman track. I don't know that this track would necessarily still deserve above the title billing - and you're right that Roundabout gives out this perk rather than paying a fair wage - but it's not quite as ridiculous as your accounting suggests in terms of the roles he played.

For the most recent revival, the original track was restored, meaning that David Turner has the distinction of playing Franz on Broadway twice but Dennis only once.
