But that logic feels backwards to me. If you're enjoying something that is actually bad for camp reasons, ie not enjoying it for how it was intended to be enjoyed/not taking it as intended and thinking it's good despite that it's widely regarded as bad... then where's the guilt coming from?

The "guilt" of "guilty pleasure" seems to be about enjoying something regarded as bad, but for what it was meant to be. You feel guilty because you know you're supposed to agree, and be above that thing, but you can't help but enjoy it, or be someone it works on depsite knowing it's not supposed to work on you.
