| Starts this Sunday. I like felder shows especially now when these aren’t zoom readings but have the bells and whistles like his live performances. Sholem aleichem wrote the stories that fiddler on the roof was based on (I had to look that up). I think this is first that the show isn’t based on a composer. There is a three show discount with Puccini and Rachmaninov shows coming up. |

| What fun! A group of old friends! - Ann reminded me today that I had not posted anything since 2009 - but like many, I visit now and again to get the "news." And what fun to find such news of old times and visits! I remember our visit - at the Salt Emporium (PF Chang's) with Barbara, and the rest of the Boston group, then seeing you Jon as a group at the theatre, and funnily what I remember from all those years back were a series of beautifully executed descending chromatic scales - in a series. I don't know why this sticks in my head, but there are always sounds that make impressions, and we remember, and I remember that - I remember it, because I had been listening to Schnabel Beethoven Sonatas at the time, and I remember the similarity in sound execution. I remember chats with Barbara, visits with Gary in SF (all, it seems, more to do with food than music...) and various encounters in various cities with so many nice TB folks - and now Jim added to the mix, whose favorite place in the world he tells me, is Florence. At any rate - in these times what a thing to click on a link, and visit with old acquaintances and memories - Stay safe, stay healthy and may live gatherings be a part of our lives again! A hug from Florence. |

| Bill! How wonderful to see you "in post!" I remember our visits in SD, especially tea across the street from the Birch (is that theatre even in existence anymore?) - So pleased to hear you are healthy and well, and hope to see you in the fair city again indeed! Stay safe! | |

| Was at Monsieur Chopin in Cambridge MA. And the after-party. Lovely production and gathering then too! Hugs back, Hershey. |

| Oh, I remember that well, upstairs in that hotel in Cambridge after ART. Those were the very early days of Chopin... very different piece all these years later, except one similarity. I still fit into the costume! (And believe me, of all the endless challenges of this kind of work, that might just be the biggest one.) It's an unusual thing - (or maybe not so...) there is a spark of joy hearing from long ago acquaintances in these troubled times, knowing that you are well, as this strange this happening to us all rages on. Stay safe and healthy!!! | |

| Ditto re enjoying Felder's (beautifully done, I think) offerings from Florence. I'm very much looking forward to his Before Fiddler. |

| I interviewed Felder recently about the Aleichem show, and it sounds interesting particularly for musical theater lovers. And it's right up Felder's alley, given that he grew up in a Yiddish-speaking household. If you want to learn more about the show, here is the link: |

| As BarbaraT may remember, Felder used to post out here, and I remember he was with us when a bunch of us Boston chatters met for drinks once. I've missed the last few of his shows from Florence but am planning on seeing this one. |

| I do indeed remember, Chromolume. And I vividly remember a fun time when we met to see a production of Forever Plaid (was it the Charles Theater?) for which you were musical director! |

| Ah, yes, lol. And thank you. I had a lot of fun doing that show. And to think where some of that cast has gone since - one of them is now the resident musical director at Goodspeed, and one of them was (and hopefully still will be) the most recent Hamilton on Broadway (after playing the role in the Chicago company for quite a good run). | |

| If you search for felder, it will pull up the three new ones. But if you scroll down the page the older ones are there for on demand watching prices from $25-45 depending on show. It’s to end of February but I think the dates extend often. | |
