What fun! A group of old friends! - Ann reminded me today that I had not posted anything since 2009 - but like many, I visit now and again to get the "news." And what fun to find such news of old times and visits! I remember our visit - at the Salt Emporium (PF Chang's) with Barbara, and the rest of the Boston group, then seeing you Jon as a group at the theatre, and funnily what I remember from all those years back were a series of beautifully executed descending chromatic scales - in a series. I don't know why this sticks in my head, but there are always sounds that make impressions, and we remember, and I remember that - I remember it, because I had been listening to Schnabel Beethoven Sonatas at the time, and I remember the similarity in sound execution. I remember chats with Barbara, visits with Gary in SF (all, it seems, more to do with food than music...) and various encounters in various cities with so many nice TB folks - and now Jim added to the mix, whose favorite place in the world he tells me, is Florence.

At any rate - in these times what a thing to click on a link, and visit with old acquaintances and memories - Stay safe, stay healthy and may live gatherings be a part of our lives again! A hug from Florence.
