| Christy Altomare’s concert again tonight at 8 |

I haven’t been posting here lately but I want to encourage people here to watch Christy Altomare’s concert with Seth Rudetsky which plays again tonight at 8pm and will be on demand for two weeks. You can buy a ticket through Broadway World.
Altomare is best known for playing the lead in Anastasia and it’s inspiring to watch a young artist perform with so much radiance and joy. During the concert she sings songs from Spring Awakening, The Last Five Years, Carrie, Anastasia, Mamma Mia as well as her own compositions and a new song by Dion from a new show based on his career called The Wanderer.
Altomare also sings She Used to Be Mine from Waitress and My New Philosophy from the Charlie Brown revival and makes a strong case that she would be perfect in either of those shows.
She talks about her career and auditions. She was out of work for three years before she auditioned for Anastasia.
I usually watch Seth Rudetsky’s concerts on first viewing because they are live then which makes them even more special. His recent evening with Kelli O’Hara was amazing but all the shows have been worthwhile. |
