I wonder if she auditioned for Evita. I know she auditioned for A Doll's Life and they loved her singing but thought she was wrong acting wise.
She did record Be On Your Own from Nine and is pretty great. She'd have fit the character too. BTW that is the first time I heard the lyric correctly. It is "and what will be is that you'll leave" on the album I always thought Akers sang "and what will be is annually." I guess as a kid I thought she meant they'll see each other once a year. |
