| Jack watched the movie for the first time I saw it in a theater when it came out in 1969. I hardly remembered it. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it and how well it has aged. O'Toole and Clark were wonderful. I saw her in Sunset Blvd here in Detroit and thought she was excellent. Weber was in the audience. The score By Bricusse is quiet and lovely. Didn't they stage it in England? Anyone see it? Would like to see someone do it here. |
