The DVD includes 3 cut numbers, "Come to Me, Bend to Me" (glorious vocal but no dance music), "Sword Dance" (spectacular), and "From This Day On" (they slowed the tempo so Kelly could sing it, unfortunately it's not very good, but Kelly and Charisse's dance is beautiful). There's an audio outtake of Kelly singing "There But for You Go I" (again the tempo is slowed, Kelly's singing is OK, but undoubtedly not good enough for a major film musical.

I agree with you. The film has flaws, but there's enough good stuff in it to make it worthwhile watching. There is a '66 TV version which is well sung by Robert Goulet and Sally Ann Howes. It features more of the score but not "The Love of My Life", which was still considered too risque for family audiences.
