I found the 1966 TV version on YouTube, and you're right: It's well-sung. Robert Goulet especially sounds so rich and resonant. What a voice!
But this adaptation is truncated, too; it runs only an hour and 20 minutes. Also in the cast: Peter Falk as Jeff and Edward Villella as Charlie.
The filming of ''Come to Me'' is odd, focusing much more on Jean (Linda Howe) than Charlie (Thomas Carlisle, who sings so gloriously).
Armstrong Flooring sponsored the broadcast, so it also offered a cast recording of ''Brigadoon'' at Armstrong dealers for just $1!
