I don't especially trust the UK either. Today there is another article on 2 additional studies, one in the UK and one is Israel, both of which say the vaccines appear to prevent spread. It also explains that this is consistent with the experience on other vaccines. I am not sure what you mean about getting the virus post-vaccine. It depends what you mean by "get" I guess.
