Not sure if this has been covered here but Brown Paper Tickets which I believe was intended to be a more-artist/indie friendly alternative to many of the other ticket services is being attacked left and right for not refunding money it collected for performances before the pandemic. There's other examples in other states but here's one. My guess is they don't have the funds...
A lawsuit filed in Washington state alleges box office company, Brown Paper Tickets owes nearly $7 million to event organizers and ticket holders across the country, including here in Wisconsin. |
