I think my first time really getting to know Follies well was during college (early 80's). I did know that Gene Nelson had been Will in the Oklahoma film, but aside from that, I think Yvonne DeCarlo was the only other name I really recognized - and of course from The Munsters. of course over time I would get to know how many important names were really in that lineup.
And I confess it was many years before I learned how "Shutta" was pronounced. ;-) |
