| Thanks. I called and pharmacist said they will give it to me when I get the second dose. Everyone else I now know has received the card after the first dose. |

| Good. Now, not to unduly worry you, but the problem I had--and several other people I know of who got the vaccine at Walgreens/Duane Reade(in NYC)is this: nothing to do with getting the card but with making sure you get the same vaccine(Pfizer or Moderna)for the second shot that you got the first time. Even IF you're scheduled for the same store--and many people are scheduled for a different Walgreens/Duane Reade for the second--this chain is not administering the program well at all. By the time of the second dose, the specific pharmacy may have gotten only the other vaccine and may or may not be helpful at scheduling you for a pharmacy which will have your correct vaccine for the day(or soon after)you're scheduled for your second shot. I urge everyone getting the vaccine at Walgreens/Duane Reade to personally keep on top of this from soon after the first shot and definitely in the week leading up to the date of the second to be sure they have an app't. for the right vaccine. |
