| In the original text, her last lines in that scene are "Goodbye, Professor Higgins. You will not be seeing me again." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the first preview, and perhaps for some time thereafter, Lauren Ambrose did say that original line. When I saw the production again just before opening night, the line was indeed changed. I do recall reading somewhere that the "new" line was not newly created and in fact existed in some other version of "Pygmalion" (play? film?) or the musical. Anyone? |
