With good direction and good production, this is an excellent play. The storytelling in the first act seems so natural and spontaneous, and the dread in the second act so palpable and real. And then--then--that third act--wow.
My group and I had misunderstood what we would be seeing--expecting a lighter, more satirical take, perhaps. We were knocked over. |
