| It was a year ago today that I dropped by the Lincoln Center TKTS booth at about 1pm and got a ticket for the evening performance of Hadestown.. Orch, Row K, Seat 111 -- for a total of $66.75. Could it have been better? I was READY. And a few hours later Broadway (and everything else) closed down. TDF has refused to refund my money. They tell me that the only way to get a refund is to take it back to a TKTS booth. But, um, they are all closed. Sorry, TDF tells me, that's the rule. Is there any possibility that this paper ticket for such a momentous date be worth anything as a collector's item? More critically, could I get that seat again at the same price when (or if?) it reopens? |

| That's insane but not surprising - TDF also continues to charge members their yearly fee (no suspensions or prorating to next year) even though there aren't shows for them to sell tickets to, aside from the occasional digital thing. | |

| I hope you get to see Hadestown; hopefully it will re-open with the same cast. It was beautiful, innovative, exciting - one of my favorite Broadway experiences (and I'm a veteran). | |
