My year-old Hadestown ticket
Posted by: aleck 12:48 pm EST 03/12/21

It was a year ago today that I dropped by the Lincoln Center TKTS booth at about 1pm and got a ticket for the evening performance of Hadestown.. Orch, Row K, Seat 111 -- for a total of $66.75. Could it have been better? I was READY. And a few hours later Broadway (and everything else) closed down. TDF has refused to refund my money. They tell me that the only way to get a refund is to take it back to a TKTS booth. But, um, they are all closed. Sorry, TDF tells me, that's the rule.

Is there any possibility that this paper ticket for such a momentous date be worth anything as a collector's item? More critically, could I get that seat again at the same price when (or if?) it reopens?
